CS2 inspect link viewer

Paste an inspect link from CS2 to open the item in 3D with its float, pattern seed, stickers and charm.

Open an example: AK-47 | Redline, float 0.24, pattern seed 661.

A link copied in CS2 encodes the item as hex after csgo_econ_action_preview: finish, float, pattern seed, stickers with their slots and wear, charm and its pattern, StatTrak count and name tag. Inspekt reads everything from the link.

How to copy one

In CS2, inspect the item and copy its inspect link. Gen links from inspect sites and generators work too.

Links from the Inspect in Game button on Steam inventory and Market pages end in S…A…D… or M…A…D…. They point to an item on Steam's servers that only a signed-in CS2 client can read, so Inspekt cannot open them. Copy the link from inside CS2 instead.

What the 3D view shows

Requires a browser with WebGPU, such as Chrome or Edge.

How to open an inspect link

  1. In CS2, inspect the item and copy its inspect link. A gen link works too.
  2. Paste it into the field at the top of this page, or into the studio after pressing Ctrl+K.
  3. Press Open in 3D, or Enter in the studio.
  4. Turn the item around, check the float, seed and stickers, and copy a share link to send it to someone.

Questions

Can I open a link without this page?

Yes. Put inspekt.gg/ in front of the link in your address bar, for example inspekt.gg/steam://rungame/730/….

Does Inspekt contact Steam?

No. Our server decodes the link without calling Steam.

Why won't my Steam Market link open?

It ends in S…A…D… or M…A…D… and points to an item that only a signed-in CS2 client can read. Copy the link from inside CS2 instead.

Do I need an account?

No. The inspect link viewer and the studio work without signing in.

Can I see what the item costs?

Yes. The Price row in the studio shows the price for that skin at the item's wear. The skin prices guide explains where the figure comes from.

Can I show the item on my own site?

Yes. The embed puts the same 3D view on your page with one script tag. See the quickstart.
